A nest with three little chicks. My children were delighted.
The chicks' mother clearly isn't worried about predators as the nest is barely at waist level.
What kind of bird are they? Blackbirds perhaps? Please don't tell me that they are a verminous pest whose necks I should wring. I really couldn't do that.
Besides, they make a great nature study for the children, and that has to have some merit.

They are so beautiful.
I've tagged you for a meme. Details are on my blog. :-)
Cute birds, but I think they might be blackbirds. We had to move one on the weekend as it was next to the back door on the hose reel.
How gorgeous!
how lovely and such a privlage to be able to see these little babies at such close quarters.
