the new houseI shouldn't be writing this at 11 o'clock at night as what I should be doing is sleeping.
I really do need my beauty sleep, what with the stresses of packing boxes and going to work and caring for my injured son and three family birthdays in the first two weeks of this month and having potential tenants go through this house to decide if they want to rent it. I know that last sentence was too long but that's how every day feels at the moment - crammed full of far too much activity.
The only way I can get through it all is by not stopping, and by working as hard as I can every waking minute. It's amazing how much one can achieve when fueled by adrenaline, coffee and chocolate.
However, my eyes are barely open and my bed is very comfortable, so I'd best be gone.
Sweet dreams until tomorrow.

When the adrenaline is burning it off, coffee and chocolate are the only way to go! Well, tea for me, but I know how passionate coffee lovers are about their brew!
Hang in there Kate. The pace of life will slow back to normal and Tom's young body will do its healing work. Embrace the light at the end of this tunnel!
I've been thinking about you since your menu help plea and wondering how you're doing in the little things as well as the big. Because it's hard to find time to cook a halfway decent meal when you're too busy to think.
Hugs
Hello Kate
Yes, beauty sleep (along with chocolate) is a necessary evil when life is all go - as it is for you at the moment. You'll have to be careful you don't collapse in a heap soon especially as there's all those boxes to be unpacked at the other end.
Hope you haven't packed your magic wand - you are going to need it at the other end lol
Cathy
Make sure you get what rest you can Kate.
I love the door and the color of the house!! I can't wait to see it all.
How's the ovenless cooking going?
Moving sucks. That's all there is to it, really.
We've moved in now, and our new home is lovely beyond words, but every time I go out into the garage I'm confronted with about 50 unpacked boxes. They stare at me in a commanding sort of way, saying "unpack me, you lazy cow!"
Don't stress. It will happen soon enough. And then those boxes will stare at you. Just stare them right back down again, like I do, and have another chocolate biscuit!
:-)
Take care.
