Reading Corner

We haven't bought a sofa for our front sitting room yet, so this old armchair is it, as far as seating goes.  Next to the window, it is the perfect place to read.

Where do you go to read?

No one uses our front living room. In the morning I grab my coffee and bible and head in there :) In the spring when it's not too hot I love to sit by our pool and read.

well I suppose I could say anywhere I can get comfortable - I particularly like my bed and in the bath. Winter time settle for a recliner in the lounge room and during the Summer on a old armchair we have on the back deck

Hi Kate! What a lovely place to sit and read and get lost in the moments of the day. Your chair reminds me of the wing back that I use to read my Nancy Drew books in as a child. The chair I have had up until recently. My mom recovered it in pink and I just recently gave it to my dear friend, Jean. I don't have much pink and she does.

Happy reading!

That looks so nice and comfy - we only have one room and that's our lounge so have to take what i can get with everyone else in there

What a delightful spot to read in!
I usually find a quiet spot in the garden in nice weather or curl up in bed during Winter to read ;)

Our front living room is used for Playstation sessions...maybe once a week a couple of the kids will sequester themselves away there. Otherwise, I get to hide up there in front of the open fire and read there. If I go to my room I'll end up asleep!
